Posie Cards & Gifts - Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to any purchase made through Posie Cards & Gifts. by placing an order, you agree to these terms.
1. About Posie
Posie Cards & Gifts creates and sells handmade dried-flower cards, gifts and decorative pieces.
Because our products are handmade using natural dried flowers, every item may have slight variations in colour, shape, size and arrangement. These natural variations are part of the character of our products.
2. Placing an Order
Orders are placed through our website and payment is taken at the time of ordering.
Once an order has been submitted, we begin preparing it for production. Customers should therefore check their order carefully before submitting it.
We will provide an order confirmation after your order has been placed.
If we are unable to fulfil an order because a particular product or flower is unavailable that cannot be substituted (see 3. Product Availability & Flower Substitutions) we will contact you and offer either:
- a suitable replacement
- a refund
3. Product Availability & Flower Substitutions
Our products are made using natural dried flowers. The availability of individual flowers can vary.
If a particular flower or material shown in a product is unavailable, we may replace it with another flower or material of a similar colour and texture, while keeping the overall design as close as reasonably possible to the original.
Product photographs are intended to give an accurate representation of the item, but natural variations and lighting differences mean that the finished product may not be identical to the photograph.

5. Dispatch & Delivery
We aim to dispatch orders within 1–2 working days of receiving the order.
Orders are sent using Royal Mail.
Delivery times are estimates and are outside Posie’s control once an order has been handed to Royal Mail.
If a parcel is delayed or lost in transit, please contact us and we will advise you on the appropriate next steps.
7. Damaged Items
If your order arrives damaged, please contact us as soon as possible by email.
Please include photographs showing the damage so that we can assess the issue.
For items valued at under £25, photographs will normally be sufficient and the item will not need to be returned.
For items valued at £25 or more, we may require the item to be returned before a replacement is provided. We will provide instructions if a return is required.
Where an item is confirmed to be damaged or faulty, Posie will provide a replacement where appropriate.
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory consumer rights.
6. Delivery Address
Customers are responsible for providing an accurate delivery address when placing an order.
Please check your address carefully before submitting your order.
Posie cannot be held responsible for delivery problems caused by an incorrect or incomplete address supplied by the customer.
8. Returns & Cancellation
Because Posie products are handmade and some products may be personalised or made specifically according to the customer’s chosen design, cancellation and return rights can vary depending on the product.
Where a statutory cancellation right applies to an online purchase, we will honour that right in accordance with applicable UK consumer law.
Personalised or bespoke products may be excluded from the usual change-of-mind cancellation right where the law allows.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory rights.
If you believe there is a problem with your order, please contact us within 14 days of receiving it so that we can help resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

Payment is taken when the order is placed.
If payment is unsuccessful, the order will not be processed.

10. Large & Corporate Orders
We accept large and corporate orders with a minimum order value of £200.
Large and corporate orders require full payment before production begins.
For larger or more complex orders, please contact us by email for further information and a quotation. Pricing will depend on the size and requirements of the order.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes to our products, services or legal requirements.
The Terms & Conditions that apply to your order will be the version in place when you place your order.
These Terms & Conditions are intended to be clear and easy to understand. They do not affect any legal rights you have as a consumer under UK law.
Dried flowers are delicate and natural materials.
A small amount of shedding or movement of flowers during handling and postage is normal and does not necessarily mean that an item is damaged.
Customers should handle dried-flower products with care and follow any care instructions provided with their order.
